Terms &
Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking charter transportation through Busiby in the United States.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who We Are and What We Do

Busiby Ltd ("Busiby", "we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales, operates this website and arranges charter transportation in the United States as a booking agent (broker). Busiby does not own or operate buses, vans or other vehicles and does not employ drivers.

Every trip is performed by an independent motor carrier ("Operator") that holds active operating authority from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) where required, together with the insurance that authority requires. The Operator is responsible for the vehicle, the driver and the safe performance of the trip. On request, we will tell you which Operator is assigned to your trip and its USDOT number.

2. Definitions

"Customer" means the person or organization making the booking. "Passengers" means everyone traveling under the booking. "Trip" means the transportation described in your booking confirmation.

3. Quotes and Booking Confirmation

A quote is not a reservation and does not guarantee vehicle availability. A booking is confirmed only when we have sent you written confirmation and received any required deposit. Your confirmation sets out the vehicle type, itinerary and price.

4. Prices, Taxes and Charges

Prices are quoted in US dollars and include the driver and fuel for the confirmed itinerary unless your quote says otherwise. Applicable taxes are shown on your quote or invoice. Tolls, parking, venue or airport access fees, and overnight driver lodging on multi-day trips are charged only where stated in your quote or agreed with you in advance.

5. Deposits and Payment

A deposit of at least 40% of the trip price is required to secure a booking. The balance must be paid before travel unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards; other methods may be offered on your invoice.

6. Cancellation by the Customer

  • More than 14 days before departure: loss of deposit only
  • 7–14 days before departure: 50% of the trip price
  • 48 hours to 7 days before departure: 75% of the trip price
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: 100% of the trip price

No refund is normally available once the trip has started. Please send cancellations in writing to support@busiby.com.

7. Changes or Cancellation by Busiby

If an Operator cannot perform your trip, we will try to arrange a comparable vehicle with another licensed Operator. If we cannot, or if you do not accept the replacement, we will cancel the booking and refund all amounts you have paid for that trip. We will tell you as early as possible if this happens.

8. Itinerary, Delays and No-Shows

Routes are set by the Operator for safety and legal compliance, including federal hours-of-service limits on driver time. Changes to the agreed itinerary on the day may result in extra charges. Neither Busiby nor the Operator is responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other events outside reasonable control. If passengers do not meet the driver at the agreed time and place, the trip may be treated as a no-show and is not refundable.

9. Passenger Conduct and Damage

Passengers must follow the driver's instructions, wear seat belts where fitted and keep the vehicle clean. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. Alcohol is allowed only where permitted by law and agreed in advance, and never for passengers under 21. The Customer is responsible for damage or excessive cleaning caused by passengers. Drivers may refuse or end a trip if passenger behavior creates a safety risk; no refund is due in that case.

10. Accessibility

Wheelchair-accessible (ADA) vehicles are available from many Operators. Please tell us your requirements when you request a quote so we can confirm a suitable vehicle. Service animals are always welcome.

11. Liability

The Operator is responsible for the transportation itself and carries the commercial liability insurance required by law. Busiby is responsible for arranging your booking with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, Busiby is not liable for the acts or omissions of Operators, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Payments and Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method. Duplicate or overpayments will be refunded in full. We do not charge an administration fee for refunds.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong, contact us at support@busiby.com so we can work with the Operator to put it right.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By paying a deposit, making full payment or traveling under a booking arranged by Busiby, the Customer and all Passengers agree to these Terms & Conditions.
