Everything you need to know about booking a charter bus with Busiby — from pricing to what happens on the day.
Booking & Pricing
Enter your trip details in the form on any page — pickup, destination, date and group size — and choose a vehicle type. A member of our team will confirm the details with you and send an all-inclusive quote.
Your quote includes the vehicle, a professional driver and fuel for the confirmed itinerary. It will tell you clearly about anything else that applies — for example tolls, parking, airport access fees, or overnight lodging for the driver on multi-day trips.
Many operators set a minimum of several hours for local trips. If a minimum applies to your trip, it will be shown on your quote before you book.
Gratuity is customary in the US but not required. If a gratuity is included in your quote it will be listed separately; otherwise tipping is at your discretion.
Two to four weeks ahead is ideal. For large groups, multiple buses, or busy dates such as holiday weekends, spring break, graduation season and major conventions, book as early as you can.
About Busiby
No. Busiby is a charter booking service. We arrange your trip with independent charter operators that hold active FMCSA operating authority and the insurance it requires, and we manage the booking for you from quote to drop-off.
Yes. Ask us at any time and we will tell you the operator assigned to your trip and its USDOT number.
We are launching in Orlando, Las Vegas, New York City, Chicago and Washington, DC, and the surrounding areas. Contact us about trips elsewhere in the US.
On the Day
Yes — the driver will meet you at the pickup address on your booking. Some venues and airports have set pickup zones for buses; we will tell you where to meet if so.
Share your flight numbers when you book. Tell us as soon as you know of a delay and we will work with the operator to adjust the pickup. Extended waiting time may be chargeable, and we will tell you before it applies.
Yes. Add planned stops — such as a second pickup, a meal break or a photo stop — when you request your quote so they can be built into the itinerary.
Yes. Federal hours-of-service rules limit driving and on-duty time for bus drivers. Long or multi-day itineraries may need a second driver or an overnight stop, which we will include in your quote.
Cancellations & Changes
More than 14 days before departure you lose only your deposit. From 7 to 14 days it is 50% of the trip price, from 48 hours to 7 days 75%, and under 48 hours 100%. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
Yes — contact us as soon as possible. We will accommodate changes to date, time or route where the operator can, and send a revised quote if the price changes.
Vehicles & Accessibility
Full-size charter buses have under-floor luggage bays — typically one large suitcase and one carry-on per passenger fits comfortably. Vans and minibuses have less space, so tell us about luggage, golf bags, strollers or equipment when you book.
Many operators offer ADA-accessible vehicles with wheelchair lifts. Tell us your requirements when you request a quote and we will confirm a suitable vehicle. Service animals are always welcome.
Most full-size charter buses have an onboard restroom, and many have Wi-Fi and power outlets. Minibuses and vans usually don't have restrooms. Let us know which amenities matter to you.
Only on vehicles and trips where the operator allows it and the law permits, and never for passengers under 21. Party buses are the usual choice for celebrations — ask us when you book.
