Barbara Hepworth's sculpture garden in the town centre is one of Britain's great outdoor art spaces.
The Eden Project, near St Austell, is one of Cornwall's most visited attractions and one of the great environmental tourism projects of the 21st century — two enormous geodesic biomes housing the world's largest indoor rainforest and a Mediterranean habitat, set in a former china clay pit. The Outdoor Garden, the Core education centre and the seasonal programme of events make it an excellent choice for groups of all ages and interests.
